Adult Ed Offering on the Siddur (Live-Stream)
Adult Ed offering on the Siddur Rabbi Pohl will begin teaching a weekly Adult Ed. Class comparing the ArtScroll Orthodox Siddur and our new Conservative movement Siddur Lev Shalem. The class sessions will be spent investigating how the commentaries to the central prayers of our faith differ in their underlining theological perspectives. Please RSVP to the synagogue office, office@kolshalomannapolis.org, and indicate whether you already own an Artscroll Siddur or whether you will need to purchase one.

Women’s League Chat with Author Ellyn Bache
Please join us for an informal chat via Zoom with author Ellyn Bache on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 7:30 PM. The topic will be "From Carbon Copies to the Cloud." Ellyn is a published author whose book Safe Passage was optioned by Steven Spielberg and ultimately made into a movie starring Susan Sarandon and Sam Sheppard. She has taught at the college level and written several books including a few under contract for a series of “women’s fiction” novels. Ellyn currently resides in Greenville, SC. As a full time mother of four and grandmother of 15, she pursued her writing career and established a local publishing company in the Carolinas to support local authors. Bring your own snacks to our “come as you are” gathering to chat with Ellyn about her experiences as a mother, writer, educator and publisher. This event is free and open to all.
