Preschool and Religious School Mission
The Tree of Life Preschool and Daniel Rothman Religious School (DRRS) strive toward making your child’s education a positive and fulfilling experience, and to foster a love of learning so that our children flourish and eventually become part of the larger Annapolis Jewish community. Throughout their education, our students develop a solid foundation in the study of Jewish heritage and tradition. In order to accomplish these goals, we have developed unique age appropriate programs which include T’filah (prayer), Torah, Hebrew language, and Jewish holidays and culture. Students learn each element through a variety of settings: individual, as well as small and large group learning. Judaism is experienced rather than just taught. Throughout the year, we have activity days as well as family events, field trips and guest visitors which add many different dimensions to our program. Our goal is to prepare our children to take their place as active and knowledgeable members of the Jewish community. Involvement in our religious school doesn’t stop at graduation. Our graduates come back to serve as classroom assistants, role models, and assist with leading services.
