Kol Shalom sponsors two youth groups to support programming for our students outside of the classroom setting. The Kadima group is for students in grades 6 – 8 while the USY group is for students in grades 9 – 12. If you would like more information about membership and upcoming events please call 410-266-6006 or send an email to the Youth Group Advisor.

Kadima (Grades 6-8)
Students in Kadima have an opportunity to socialize with their fellow students and students from other synagogues in the area, and learn about life, friendship, religion and leadership. Kadima offers age appropriate social programming, sports leagues, opportunities to perform community service, and fun overnight weekend retreats.
USY (Grades 9-12)
Students in USY have similar opportunities as the Kadima group. USY provides older students an opportunity to explore, celebrate and practice ethical values, Jewish Living, and community responsibility while also learning about life, friendship, religion and leadership. USY also offers leadership training, social programming, sports leagues, semi-annual conventions and formal events that are attended by USY Chapters in the Mid-Atlantic region.
