PictureFor those of you who do not know, the Gift Shop has been donating $1000 for the past several years to Kol Shalom as well as purchasing needed items such as tables, freezer, television, and VCR. This year’s purchase will be parking lot lighting.

Those of you who have been supporting  the Gift Shop - keep it up, but to the rest of you please check it out.  Maxine can order items from most catalogs.  The price would probably be the same to you, but the Gift Shop might be able to make some profit from it.

Many of you receive the Source for Everything Jewish, if there is something you want, I can order it for you.  BAR/BAT MITZVAH FAMILIES - I can order your invitations, Kepas, Tallit and other needed items for your "families big day".

Maxine is also looking for a "LITTLE" help.  She needs 4 people to each take "1" Sunday a month to be available for "1" hour before school is over to sell or show items.  Maxine will take care of all the Wednesdays.  If you already have to go and pick up your child, couldn't you be available for this?  This is only when we have Sunday school and it is at Kol Shalom. Contact our Gift Shop here.

Chanukah Bazaar

The Bazaar will be held during November, specific dates tbd.  Shop here for all your holiday needs. We’ll have many different kinds of candles and menorot,  wrapping paper and gift bags, dreidels and chocolate gelt and gifts for all.  I’ll be there each Wednesday during Hebrew School and we’ll try to have someone available on Sundays from 11:30 to 12:30,  but call me to check.

If there’s anything special that you might be looking for, I have catalogs you can look at. Call me at and we can set up a special appointment if need be. I also order Bar/Bat Mitzvah invitations, kepot, and tallit. The Gift Shop has bought many things for Kol Shalom: tables, freezer, TV and the latest will be the new outside lighting. When you support the Gift Shop, you are helping Kol Shalom!   I’m also looking for some volunteers to help on the day of the Bazaar as well as one (1) hour a month on Sundays. Please call me if you can help!!
