As I write this article, Simhat Torah was celebrated three days ago. Sukkot began nearly two weeks ago, while Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur seem a distant memory. The fall holidays have finally concluded and since Rosh Hashanah, the first days of Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret/Simhat Torah were all followed immediately by a Shabbat, three of the last four weekends have been what observant Jews sometimes refer to as "three day Yontifs."
Our President Howard Salob:
All of the Jewish holidays are finished for now and we can get back to a sense of normalcy for Kol Shalom. Our expansion project is moving along at a very nice pace and we hope to have the construction completed by the end of the year.
Daniel Rothman Religious School:
DRRS is getting ready to move. As of the beginning of November, the entire school will be moving into the sanctuary- oneg areas. When dropping off your child/children, we will be waiting for you there. We aren't sure about all the logistics yet, but we are sure it will be noisy. Please bear with us during this transition time and know that by the first of January, all will be amazing and beautiful!!
Congregation Kol Shalom is located in a wooded,
private area near the Annapolis Westfield Shopping Plaza on Bestgate Road.
